PENGARUH MEDIA KARTU KUARTET TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGHAFAL MUFRODAT PESERTA DIDIK

This research is motivated by the limited ability of students to memorize Arabic vocabulary, which is often influenced by the use of less varied learning methods and minimal interesting media. This study aims to examine the effect of quartet card media on students’ ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) among eleventh-grade students of MA Ma’arif 7 Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan. The research employed a quantitative approach using a One-Group Pretest–Posttest design. The subjects consisted of 30 students. Data were collected through tests, observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 79.83 in the pretest to 86.00 in the posttest. The t-test results indicated a t-value of 7.53 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), demonstrating a significant effect of the quartet card media on students’ vocabulary memorization ability. The quartet card media proved effective as it integrates visual elements, interaction, and educational games, which enhance students’ motivation, focus, and memory retention in Arabic language learning
