Abstract

Life skills, emotional quotient, spiritual quotient. Our current education is often criticized by society due to a number of students and education graduates exhibiting uncommendable behavior; many students are involved in brawls, commit criminal acts, engage in mugging, sexual deviations, and so on. This starts from the increasing number of basic education graduates who do not continue to secondary school, and secondary school graduates who do not continue to higher education. The purpose of this study is an examination of life skills education for SQ within the students, with a case study at Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School in Lamongan. It uses a descriptive qualitative research methodology with a pre-post test design. Spiritual (SQ). Life skills education in developing the students' spirituality, the author can conclude based on the research results obtained, that they have fairly good emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence, even though they are not particularly outstanding in the intellectual field. Although their behavior is still somewhat unstable, they are not exempt from character training, so whether they like it or not, they will become accustomed to a civilized environment, learn how to interact with others, and especially how to control themselves.
