Sociodrama is a method of guidance that provides students with the opportunity to dramatize attitudes, behaviors, or experiences as they occur in everyday social relationships in society. Self-efficacy is a person's belief in their abilities and the results they will obtain from their hard work, which will influence how they behave. Students with high self-efficacy will have high confidence in their ability to perform a task. Conversely, individuals with low self-efficacy will have low confidence in their abilities and will tend to give up when faced with a problem. Self-efficacy is considered very important in a person's life, not only in academic aspects but also in social aspects. However, in reality, at Madrasah Aliyah YASMU Gresik Regency, researchers found students with low self-efficacy. This research design is an experimental study that aims to examine the effect of sociodrama techniques on students' self-efficacy. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire given to a predetermined sample. The findings in this study are the implementation of sociodrama techniques that run smoothly and there is a significant influence of sociodrama techniques on the self-efficacy of class X students at Madrasah Aliyah YASMU Gresik Regency by looking at Thitung and Ttabel. From the results of this study, it is suggested that future researchers can develop other variables that have an influence on student self-efficacy, so that it will enrich scientific findings in guidance and counseling science.
