Abstract

As Islamic educational institutions, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) play a crucial role in shaping the character and intellect of the younger generation. However, competition in the educational world is increasingly fierce, necessitating the implementation of effective marketing strategies. This study examines how Islamic boarding schools utilize media to promote the excellence of their educational programs, Islamic values, and extracurricular activities. An in-depth analysis of these marketing strategies is expected to contribute to improving the quality and competitiveness of educational institutions. This study aims to determine the marketing strategies of Islamic boarding schools through media utilization and how these media are used to introduce the programs and advantages of Islamic boarding schools to the public. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the use of various media, both social media and other promotional media, can increase the visibility of Islamic boarding schools, expand the reach of information to the public, and strengthen the image of educational institutions, thus supporting increased public interest in choosing Islamic boarding schools as a place of education.
