Abstract

Schools are not only required to implement a good curriculum, but are also required to produce graduates who have the qualifications as determined in the curriculum outcomes. Herein lies the challenge for schools to maintain the quality of education they implement. Therefore, the leadership of the principal is key in achieving quality graduates. This study aims to answer various research questions: 1) How does the leadership of the madrasah principal improve the quality of graduates at MI Mambaul Ulum? 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of graduates. This study uses a descriptive method. The results of this study are the success or failure of a leadership that has gone through several stages in its management process. Supporting factors such as managerial competence, good communication skills, stakeholder support, and the availability of adequate infrastructure are the keys to success in producing graduates who excel academically and character-wise. The madrasah principal is able to build a positive work culture. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are consistency in maintaining what has been achieved so far, and secondly, poor communication, which often occurs with miscommunication.
