STRATEGI KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN SARANA DAN PRASARANA PENDIDIKAN DI SMK SUNAN DRAJAT PACIRAN LAMONGAN

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are the needs that must be fulfilled in teaching and learning activities, as a support for the success of a learning process. The focus of this study is how the Principal's Strategy in Developing Educational Facilities and Infrastructure at SMK Sunan Drajat Lamongan, the research method uses descriptive qualitative, data collection uses observation, documentation, and interview methods. The results of this study confirm that the principal's strategy in developing educational facilities and infrastructure, while the obstacles experienced by the Principal are the use of many tools that do not comply with standard operating procedures, the use of classes that are used alternately, lack of maintenance, many elderly educators, and minimal budget for purchasing equipment. The efforts made by the Principal are by conducting evaluations, inventories, checking tools, routine coordination, saving income, conducting training, listening to all criticisms from all parties involved in the school.
